Booked in here unsure what to expect. Obviously it's not the Hilton, but pleasantly surprised to find hot showers & lovely clean drop toilets in green leafy, well organised campground in mid-desert. Liked it so much we stayed a 2nd night (so pleased we did that instead of by bleak & windy L.Eyre). Helpful hosts, interesting mini museum. Public spa unusually small but a nice dip. Would definitely recommend.

We didn't know what to expect and found a wonderful eco-camping oasis. It is extremely well run with clean, private sites, fire pits (remember to collect lots of wood along the track), a fascinating little museum and a convenient 'overflow' site outside the gate when full. The bore bathing tub is quite small and tepid and I'm glad we entered before the group of old codgers in their undies guzzling beers. Take towels and warm clothes for after you get out of the bore in winter as it's freezing. The birdlife and sunrise with the first pink rays hitting the steam rising off the artesian wetland were spectacular. The nearby sights of Lake Eyre, old Ghan track, Overland Telegraph and incredible mound springs 'Blanche Cup' and 'The Bubbler' are not to be missed.

Room Tip: There r portable fire pits if your site doesn't have one.

Better than expected. No powered sites and you have to take your rubbish with you, but definitely worth a stopover. Really clean facilities, friendly staff and a natural spa, you couldn't ask for more considering the location. Highly recommended.

We visited this place about 14 years ago and just stopped in again. We're pleased to say nothing much has changed, it's a lovely relaxed oasis along the Oodnadatta track. Awesome hot tub, nice hot showers with the added fun of having to light the boiler fire yourself and lovely private camp sites.

Stayed a Coward Spring and drove for the early morning flight over Lake Eyre, William Creek is typical Outback Australia , a pub multi-function,come fuel, restaurant, bar, booking flights plus there is a camping ground, and few old space relic that was tested in the South Australian desert.Otherwise this the place where can get on board your flight over Lake Eyre the cost was $260 for one hour worth it if you decided to see something unique in Australia , we saw about 1.5m of water left and no wild life ,but the flight was worthwhile.
