Description: - Distinctive, unfussed, brilliantly balanced dishes in the heart of the Barossa Valley - Nestled amongst vineyards, with alfresco & formal dining options to suit the season, Vintners Bar & Grill is one of the Barossa Valley's longest operating restaurants. Our dedication to high quality service & food has seen us win national awards & become a favourite destination for both locals and out-of-town guests. Specialising in giving a modern twist to both new and traditional ingredients from across the region, Peter Clarke sources the freshest produce, while Rami Heer carefully selects each wine to add to the extensive list of local & imported drops. Vintners proudly encapsulates what the Barossa does best; exceptional wine and outstanding food.

We visited Vintners for a long lunch which turned out to be a stunning feast! We couldn’t speak highly enough of the food choices with all dishes on the menu ordered across our table and each one of them was superb. Vintners sets the standard for high end cuisine in the Barossa if not for the whole of SA. And worth mentioning, being in the Barossa there is every chance you will find a pairing wine from a local estate but Vintners also boasts an extensive international list.

We had lunch for my wifes 50th birthday with our family - 8 people - which was barely recognised by the staff even with massive balloons on the table...Food was lovely but we waited over 1.5 hours for mains with no real explanation or apology, very disappointing given how much we spent..and knowing we were on an organised tour which was impacted due to the delays. Great place but very poor service.

Vintners has been around for long time and the restaurant has always been a delight each time we have dined here. The food is modern Australian and heading towards the fine dining end of the spectrum. All the dishes were nicely flavoured and hair a sense of individuality about them. The wine list was broad and there is enough depth to make it interesting. Service was exemplary. Highly recommended.

Wow. Vintners came highly recommended from our accommodation. The Lodge Country House. On arrival our waitress treated us like we were the only patrons in the restaurant. Her knowledge, explanations and genuine friendliness had us trying options on the menu we probably have never entertained. The menu was easy to follow with tantalising explanations, with a wine list to match. Desserts were delivered almost too good to eat. We did however and they lived up to their good looks. The restaurant was very atmospheric and the view, looking over the vines at sunset, transported us to another place in time. Parking wasn't a problem either.

Just wow! I am vegan and my partner is not and they were absolutely amazing. He savoured every tiny bite of his steak and my vegan meals were superb!!!! I love it when a restaurant goes out of their way to ensure that everyone is happy and they absolutely nailed it! The scenery is picturesque, the wine selection is on point and the food is 10/10!!!! One for your bucket list!
