This was our second visit to Vintners. The service was first class and cuisine was sensational right from when we entered until we left we felt very much at home.

This restaurant has a lovely ambience, we loved the food and the wine list BUT we cannot give it a better review because it took so long to get a drink.. at least 30 minutes and that was after we caught the attention of the staff.

This is not a criticism of the staff, we had a lovely girl called Shakira who did all she could but on this particular night the restaurant was woefully understaffed and she seemed to have to do it all. Because of this, the night seemed to take an eternity for food and wine to be served. I take my hat of to Shakira, she really did try, it's just a shame that she had little support on the floor.

Surprisingly busy for a Thursday night, but not so surprising once the food arrived. Delicious. Crab salad was crisp, and well balanced herbs and chilli.
Grilled fish was lovely, not a particularly large portion, glad I had an entree. Service was good, friendly and smooth. Only let down was the cheese plate which was desultory to say the least. I put more effort in at home! As with the fish, the portions were quite small, and with a bunch of grapes sat on the side and a handful of flatbread spears dumped in the middle it was neither visually appealing, nor good value. Crab salad was a highlight and good service with knowledgable wine pairing recommendations.

Visited here for a girls night whilst in the Barossa Valley. Moved tables 4 times until satisfied, the staff took this in their stride. Amazing appetisers including Pigs Ears, which I highly recommend. Main course was Beef for 2, which we all loved. Dessert course was Passionfruit Soufflé which was perfect! Pink Champagne to celebrate and a Rockford Rifle Range to finish. Amazing 5/5, well done to the staff.
We are coming back!

We happened upon this place by chance in our meandering around the state and it is certainly one of the highlights. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful ( thanks Shakira) and the choice of small or bigger meals was not something usually seen and a great idea. The mushroom dish was superb!
