the room we stayed in was old, tired, dark, dingy, and appeared dirty and worn. The bed was like staying in Grandma's spare room, and some of the lighting did not work, also very noisy with trucks passing from 5am every morning due to motel being on the main intersection of the Barossa Valley freight route. Would not stay here again and will not recommend to others.

Great location in the Barossa and for a good price. Room was a good size, modern looking and clean, with a large bed, free wifi, a few FOXTEL channels and well stocked with glassware and crockery, plus a fridge, microwave & toaster.
The biggest point letting down this motel room was the bathroom - compared to the main bedroom area, going to the bathroom was like going in a time machine to the 70s. Furnished with brown tiles, and a tiny window up high, the bathroom lacked a sink (located just outside the bathroom door) and the shower had 3 temperature settings (scalding, freezing or lukewarm) which changed of their own accord. However the owners are clearly putting effort in to modernising and maintaining the rooms, so hopefully the bathrooms are next!
Aside from this, our two night stay was comfortable, quiet & the rooms clean.

This hotel was perfect for our needs as a place to just rest our heads after long days out touring the wineries and sampling the amazing food that the Barossa has to offer.
A no frills hotel it was clean, our room was cleaned daily and it is across the road from the Barossa Farmers Market which is open every Saturday and perfect for breakfast.

The best part of staying here is the electric blankets on every bed which were ideal in the winter when we stayed.

When you book at the cheapest place in the Barossa then you dont expect roses and doorman. Besides the shower lacking a little water pressure, this place was fine. A comfy bed, a tv that had the footy, a iron for my girlfriend and a free paper each morning. It was located across the road from Vintners which is a must go to restaurant. Overall the place was conveniently located at a good price. It meant we could spend out money on wine and food instead. I would come back here in a second if I came to the barossa again.

Cannot rave more about this place. Stayed 3 nights in a King room after a Navy reunion in Adelaide. Us 2 couples couldn't have found a more perfect place to base our stay in The Barossa Valley. Rooms were huge and king bed was big and comfy. Kitchen facilities were good and bathroom had plenty of hot water with good pressure. Maybe a small criticism though. Split system a/c would be better and quieter than the old in window chuggers. Ours worked ok with a bit of noise that we are used to however our companions couldn't use theirs due to the noise. Small winge though as this was one of the best motels we have stayed at for ages

Room Tip: King room is worth the extra and good value of you are a Golden Chain frequent traveller with the card. $103 per night :-)
