Service was just awful staff seemed to avoid making eye contact so they don’t have to serve you , finally ordered steak and mash and the salmon and both meals the food was cold and when brought to the attention of staff , they took the meals and apologised and returned the exact same meals microwaved , salad and all ,
Over priced and complete lack of attention to customers and quality makes this place somewhere to avoid

Tuesday special ha ha $17 for 1 house wine 1 basic schooner of beer. 2 meals at 1 and 1/2 price but this only for main meals not bar meals. And we sat in a seat that was freezing cold. Wind blowing. This is the first time I have complained. The prices seem overpriced for a hotel. The burger was tasty but average.

Ordered the special, Well done steak, chips and salad. Arrived with steak not well done . Poor quality steak. OK if you need to exercise your jaw muscles chewing for ever to eat the steak.

Way over-priced
Want a steak? How about rump with bugs $51.70. Or maybe up the class to carpet bag at $68.20. Who can afford these prices?

A regional hotel charging $37-47 for a steak with only the choice of veg and mash and some long reason for not offering the standard chips and salad as a standard offer? People sitting next to us were surprised not to have chips and salad as standard. I had the seafood linguine. Semi warm with a very small bug which was at best just warm in temperature. Thanks for the tails that were still on the prawns. Staff appeared ‘flat’ and just doing what they had to. No signs of a business trying to stand out and give you the feeling of wanting you to come back. Look for better options in town I reckon when it comes to dining.
On a positive $4.50 schooners 4-6:30pm were really appreciated.
