Stumbled across this cafe whilst refueling across the road and what a surprise. The staff were great and always greeted you with a smile. We decided to have lunch and I ordered the fish (threadfin salmon) & chips and it was a dream I also has one of their specialties mango smoothie which was also great my partner had a coffee which she said was the best she had had on our trip so far. Mayse's also has atmosphere with its cute booths and movie memorabilia tops to see in a small town - happy to give my recommendation to anyone.

I have been coming to Pine Creek and Mayses for years and never had nothing but excellent service, great coffee and fantastic meals all at a very reasonable price. Servings are huge.

I've been taking birdwatchers to Pine Creek since the 1980s. I have never had a bad meal at Mayse's Restaurant. The food is excellent.

On a self drive tour from Darwin to KatherineGorge, Pine Creek town centre offers an oasis of great food and comfortable surroundings. my toasted BLT was perfectly done, hot and delicious. My husband had a cold ham and cheese croissant, equally as fresh and well prepared. On our return trip we just had to stop and enjoy the food again. Another fabulous BLT for me, bacon and eggs breakfast for my husband, and of course, great coffee! Highly recommend!

It doesn't look much but we were thrilled with the food. Ordered chicken/camembert toasted Panini - yum yum yum.

Would highly recommend you do a detour through Pine Creek to Mayse's and try one when you are travelling the highway.
