We went into Southern Lost World in. Limmen National Park. There is a strong gripping air of spiritual and natural awe here. The rock formations are staggering, from 5 to 40 meters in height. You can walk around in them and it feels like they speak to you like alien beings. Birds and flowers are abundant. Walk at early morning and evening to get totally different perspective under varying sunscapes. The walk takes an hour

If this place was near a city it would be overrun by Tourists. As it is, it is a very long way from anywhere and not even accessible all year round due to the wet season. A jurassic landscape of towering, and often leaning, columns of rock this is world class, and one of several similar formations in the area. The best is only accessible by helicopter from Cape Crawford Roadhouse (The "Cape" name remains despite the sea retreating thousands of years ago) The roadhouse and, for the more adventurous, Lorella Springs station are top places to base yourself while in this remote area.
