This is really worth stopping at and taking a look. An interesting place full of information about the whaling days and the kids enjoyed it too. There is a skeleton of one of the largest whales from the area.

The whaling story was tastefully presented and linked to the indigenous people. Nice little museum to pass an hour or so

Interesting exhibits and information about Eden's whaling history. You only need an hour or so to look around. Our visit was followed by a tour around Twofold Bay which added to our involvement in the historical information.

Great visit and place to take the kids. A film based on the history of whaling in the Eden area and how this influenced the lifestyle of settlers in the area.

We visited the museum and it provided so much information regarding the history of Eden, its people and the special characteristics of the whaling. You need to see the skeleton of Old Tom - huge. Apart from the normal museum pieces, you can watch various videos explaining specific aspects of life in Eden in the 1800s. Well worth the visit and the view.........
