We booked this motel yesterday and arrived at 2.30pm today. After receiving a frosty greeting from the lady that appeared to be running the place, imagine our surprise when we tried to have a shower around 8pm and discovered there was NO HOT WATER.
After running the shower for 15 MINUTES, I ventured over to the reception (which was unmanned) and tried multiple times to get anyone to respond to my pushing of the intercom button.
After trying the intercom half a dozen times (I was quite annoyed and wanted to ask why we had no hot water), I realised there was a paper note attached to the locked reception door. As the light was off, I could barely read it but I’ll attach it to this review for all to see.
It would appear as though they’ve known about the lack of hot water ALL DAY yet failed to notify us either when we checked in nor when we walked back, past reception and spoke with the aforementioned lady, around 5pm.
They took our money and knew we had NO HOT WATER as the attached photo clearly shows.
Absolutely disgraceful money grabbing scumbags. Would thoroughly NOT RECOMMEND
