Stayed here two nights as part of a cycle tour. Large room well appointed. Bathroom all clean and working, although shower cubicle was one of the smallest I have seen! Location is ideal - on one of the main pedestrianised streets but minutes walk from beach, port, attractions. Breakfast in Italian - that means lots of sweet pastries! An ideal spot fir a stay in Trapani.

2nd stay here great people who look after you well, They now do a breakfast (Italian) we were leaving late but they let us keep the room until 20.00 at no additional cost.
May seem a little point it was our second visit but they remembered us!

My friend and I found this gem. It's a perfect location! It's not even a block from the main streets. Alberto was very helpful with anything we needed. This is the kind of hotel that you leave the key at the desk.

We arrived to the Nuovo Albergo Russo upon arrival in Sicliy on a quiet, slightly late Monday night, and yet were warmly greeted by Valentina and her son in this charming, family owned and operated hotel. She immediately recognized my brother, who spent one evening almost a year previous, impressive! This warm welcome we felt throughout our stay, whether we were departing in the morning or returning in the evening.
We quickly understood why my brother again booked the Nuovo Albergo Russo for our stay too, besides the attentive service, the hotel and the rooms were clean, (spotless rather), spacious and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, the refrigerators in the rooms kept our bottled water and perishables cool, and the wifi was free. And getting to park our rental car in their garage was another plus!
The Nuovo Albergo Russo location was also unbeatable, right in the heart of Trapani's Old Town! We strolled to the beaches, sights, cafes, shopping, and to the best local restaurant, Antichi Sapori, (recommended by Valentina of course) who also recommended we visit Diego Canzoneri to buy the local specialties, bottarga, pistacchi, pasta, salt, cheeses etc.
We all found Trapani to be calm, friendly and easy going, stress-free, not chaotic as other Sicilian cities can be, and more than enjoyable! Already we can't wait to return, and no doubt we'll once again book the Nuovo Albergo Russo!

This is a great place to stay in Trapani. Close to everything including nice beach. Right in the center. The owners Valentina and her father, an old captain, are great and very friendly. The rooms a very clean. There is an elevator in the building. The staff in general is extremely helpful and trying hard to please their guests.

Room Tip: we stayed on the top floor and were happy with our rooms
