We went here for the Sunday Brunch with our good friends who live in Raleigh. Both the brunch and regular menus are solid with a good variety.
My wife ordered the BYO Omelet which she says was excellent as was her Bloody Mary. I had the fish and chips which were the best I have ever had anywhere.
The service was great and the timing of drinks, then ordering, then the meal was excellent.
We were very impressed. The only negative was that it is a Steelers bar which means I would usually avoid it. It says a lot for the place that we stayed and enjoyed the experience.

Thank Jeff C

We were seated and chatted with the owner's wife. She was superfriendly and we chatted a few times. They had great authentic Irish food. I had the bangers and mash and a couple of the others had the fish and chips and shephards pie. They were all very good. Plenty of beers and wine selections. Overall a great atmosphere. Would visit again.

Great food, libations, and staff. We decided to go last minute after several years of not venturing that far from home base (kids!). Well worth it! We enjoyed the delicious prime rib dinner with mashed potatoes, and the caprese salad. Yum! We sent our compliments to the chef on the prime rib, and passed along the fact that theirs was better (and by far cheaper, as an aside) than the Angus Barn prime rib. Justin was our waiter, and he was an added bonus. Looking forward to venturing out again!

We look for good, reasonable placed in North Raleigh that have outdoor seating. The Hibernian fits that bill. Yes, the road is right next to the patio, but somehow we dont mind the road noise. The food is normal Pub fare and is good an reasonably priced.
I believe they have 1/2 price bottles of Wine on Wednesday, so that is always a positive for us. :-)

The Hibenrian Pub seems to be a popular sports bar. I went during lunch so less of that vibe then but there is a lot of sports memorabilia. There is a lunch menu or you can order off of the regular menu. I went with a burger and side salad. It was very good. The service was a little off as drinks were not refilled and then a few ordered dessert but the rest of us were not asked if we wanted anything.
