Excellent food, great service and a very cool vibe. I tried a little of everyone's food. I had crab legs and they were very fresh. My husband had ribs and chicken and it was delish. My bff had apple chops...yummmmmmy! We will be back next time we are in the OBX. Keep up the great work Red Drum.

Took the little ones there for dinner after a day at the beach. Food was good and fast. Staff was friendly and quick.

Stopped in for lunch last month ... our first time since Red Drum reopened after suffering severe flooding damage from Hurricane Matthew's heavy rains. Red Drum has done an excellent job in recovering and we are very glad it's back in operation.

We celebrated the upcoming St. Patrick's Day holiday with friends ... starting with a pint of Guinness Stout ($7).

Then had the ALWAYS excellent Red Drum Hatteras-style Chowder (cup for $3.99) ...

One of the specials of the day: Bar-B-Q Grilled Shrimp over house greens with Black Bean & White Corn salsa & Smoked Gouda ($13.99) ...

The Corned Beef Reuben sandwich with sauerkraut, melted Swiss cheese & Red Drum's always great tasting french fries ($11.99) ...

And the half rack of BBQ Baby Back Ribs with honey/habarnero sauce & coleslaw ($12.99).

"Teresa" and her colleagues provided excellent, friendly service & as it was still early in the season, parking was readily available.

As Red Drum is one of our favorite places for lunch, we're looking forward to returning soon as we didn't have time this visit to partake of Red Drum's excellent "Beer Sampler"!

My husband had the Flounder Fish & Chips. He said they were the best he had during our time in the area. I had the Shrimp Mac & Cheese. It was very rich, plenty of shrimp, bits of ham.and topped with green onions. We would definitely go back the next time we are in the area!

As always the Red Drum came thru top notch with service, food & drinks! The quiet dining area don't ever have to compete with the bar area. The food was speedy & still quite tasty with the waitress giving grate service but not too much to be a nuisance. Highly recommend this spot as always & may even see me there through out the year.
