“How could we not return!?”

I am so happy with our stay at the EFC over the xmas holiday. Since it is only 2 hours away from our home, we will definitely make sure that this is a place we run off to for those much needed work breaks. We cannot wait to return in the Fall.

“Simply amazing and worth every penny”
Reviewed 9 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We have stayed at the East Fork Cottage with my husband and 6 year old son for 1 week. The place, the cottage, the farm and the owners were all above and beyond our expectations. My family had a blast. I do recommend this place without reservations to any family wanting to experience the mountains and the farm life. The owners are very nice and friendly people, the cottage was perfectly clean, comfortable and, as someone who has worked in the design industry for many years, I have to say it is very well designed from an architectural and interior design stand point. Lot of attention to details, cleanliness, my son loved to make the fire outside every night in the fire pit and have a bath altogether in the hot tub at the end of the day. We made memories that we will cherish forever.

“Love, love, loved it!”
Reviewed 28 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

What a wonderful place to stay. My daughter will be going to Mars Hill in the fall. We were coming up for orientation weekend and needed a place to stay. Fortunately we found this cabin to rent. Such a cool place! Sheep out in the pasture, very cool decorated cabin. A very laid back, beautiful weekend for our family. Close to Asheville so we could experience the fun there, but remote enough to truly get away from it all at the farm. We bought stuff at the farm store and cooked at the cabin, hung out in the hot tub, enjoyed cooking s'mores at the fire pit. A great experience...we will definitely be back!!

“Nice Cottage to relax”
Reviewed 7 March 2016 for a stay in March 2016

This is a great place to stay. There was a group of 4 guys who went skiing at Wolf Ridge and it was only 30 minutes away. This cottage has everything you need (dishes, washer/dryer, hot tub, etc.) It was nice and quiet but still close enough to everything you need - food, groceries, activities.....
I will be staying here again next time we come skiing or might bring my kids and wife and have a fun vacation.
There are lots of things to do for kids there on the farm (we didn't do any of it this time since it was 4 guys on a ski trip) but looking at what the cottage offers this will be a fun place for kids.

“An Awesome Week at "The Farm"”
Reviewed 3 March 2016 for a stay in August 2015

Our family of four (girls age 13 & 11) spent a week at East Fork Farm in early August 2015 and had a wonderful time. Collected eggs in the morning, loved on the farm dogs, fed the trout and took in the warmth and hospitality of the owners. The Cottage was a dream- cute, quaint but two story so plenty of room. Loved basking in the soaking tub in the star-lit evenings, listening to the sheep braying around us. Enjoyed long walks along the stream, great weather and a wonderful pastoral environment. But we also went white water rafting, horseback riding, tubing down a river, and zip-lining. So a great balance of relaxation at the farm cottage and more high energy activities. And Asheville was just 30 minutes away. Cottage is great for 4-5 people. This was an ideal getaway.
