We stayed here on our way home from Charleston, our room was on the end toward the highway, wouldn't recommend the room because of noise. The people in the office were helpful & friendly, they recommended a place to eat.

We stayed two nights in this very comfortable creekside inn. We had never been to Maggie Valley and were eager to see the sights...Soco Falls, Wheels Through Time Museum, Elevated Mountain Distillery, B&C Winery, and of course, the beautiful Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were travelling from Canada with our service dog so it was important to find the right place to "call home" for two nights. We chose River Point Lodge out of the many hotels in Maggie Valley after talking with owner Tim on the phone and feeling like he was really interested in providing just the right experience for us. Our room was spacious and well-equipped with fridge, microwave, second sink and vanity and large windows looking out on the beautiful fast-flowing creek. We liked the fact that the lodge was set in away from the busy traffic of Soco Rd. and the setting was very peaceful with the creeks, grass areas and walking trails...a lovely change from the typical hotel concrete parking lot.
The owners, Tim and Chris, were very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was not included but certainly not necessary as there were many nearby restaurants where we enjoyed excellent meals at very reasonable prices.
Bring your own hair dryer but other than that, this inn had everything we needed and we hope to visit it again.

This hotel is very quaint and has a nice small town charm. The rooms are cozy and right on the creek. It makes it feel as if you are camping. The room was clean and cozy. The mattress was kind of hard so keep that in mind if you need soft sleep.

In a beautiful area with rooms that overlook the rivers. You could do a little fishing if you wished. The office was helpful and the room was very comfy and pretty clean. The bed was comfy and fairly soft. Bathroom was small and sink was in with the toilet and tub. The bathroom door was very sticky. TV was good cable with a lot of choices. Good Parking.

All I can say for this place is that it was clean and had a creek running by it! We stayed in back and had to tote our heavy luggage and cooler around to the upstairs room. You can only park near you're room if u have a room up front. The room is very dark although it did have a fridge and microwave,For $119 and No breakfast and the staff not super friendly. We probably won't be back to Maggie Valley
