Description: Serving Maggie Valley for 32 years, our family has been in the restaurant business since 1935 with over 20 restaurants (Manero's) both on the East coast and in south Florida. We are know for our succulent prime rib, steaks, Gorgonzola cheese salad as well as our French onion soup and homemade cheese sticks. We are a casual upscale steakhouse which also serves a variety of seafood, chicken, pork, pasta, salads and well as burgers and a variety of incredible appetizers. We have a full bar and serve dinner both in our lounge as well as our dining room. We also have a loft which seats 55 and a private banquet room which seats 25. In the summer and fall, we serve on our patio on weekends. We cater to groups of all sizes both at our establishment and in local parks, homes and a variety of settings and have done groups up to 1300. We love to serve families and have a kids section for children as well as two functioning trains which delight the young at heart in our dining room.

After a day on the road got in to town around 8:30pm but the sidewalks in Maggie Valley were rolled up already. It looked as if the only places open in town were J. Arthurs, a Mexican Restaurant, and an ice cream shop. Well Mexican and ice cream were out so J' Arthurs it was. The food was good as was the service and they were getting ready to close while I was eating so felt a bit rushed. The bottom line, if you're arriving in town late, eat before you get here.

Traveling back to Asheville looking for a decent dinner spot we came across J. Arthur’s. An excellent choice! Friendly and courteous service, reasonable selection of entrees, quiet and casual atmosphere and moderate prices- it’s all here. I had the NY Strip Steak which was perfectly prepared and tasty . Best steak I have had for years. I recommend it!

It was delicious. We had Flounder Del Ray, it was stuffed with crab meat and had a alfredo sauce over pasta. It came with a great side salad and rolls. It was a nice surprise to find such a great little gem.

Saw the sign for prime rib, so we decided to stop and have dinner. We love prime rib and this place did have a very good tasting prime rib. The price is a little steep for the prime rib, but this town is a tourist town...
The entire meal was excellent and we had a great server named Dee.
We will stop here again when we are town.

Thank Joe C

Recently had dinner here to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered the chicken Marsala and the pecan crusted chicken. The meal started with a boring salad. It looked like salad from a bag with tomato and onion added on top. Both chicken dishes were served with mashed potatoes. Portions were ample but not large. A hungry person might be disappointed. We did not ordered dessert.
