Bad experience. Lasagna noodles were mushy. Sent back and asked for el dente ziti. After a longer than needed delay, order came very undercooked. Maybe it's just me but I think an Italian restaurant should know how to cook pasta. Off of my list.

1st off waiter was cold and unhappy. Put us in bad mood. Ordered calamari which was extremely salty and spice with tons of pepper. Next was a bowl of cold soup. Could not finish it. Lastly was lasagna. It was topped with tons of sauce. After I took the sauce off I notice it had little meat and hardly any mozzarella cheese. Dessert were very expensive at $8 a slice. Very disappointed. This was not our first time eating there but may be our last. Shame they used to be very good with service and food. New management ? And untrained cooks and wait staff. Shame they wasted the redecorating and now this.

Visiting our son and he wanted Italian. We have been here before when we lived in the area and have always had a good mean and good service. Will be back!

Carrabba's in Huntersville, NC has been a consistent go to place and noteworthy chain. This last visit was a great disappointment. The dinner totally missed the mark and the evening was one to forget. First the wine did not arrive until we finished the appetizer. Following the appetizer, the meal was long delayed taking 40 minutes. However, only two meals out of three for the table showed up. One of those two meals Pollo Rosa Maria and spagghetti was not warm enough and the second veal parmigiana was extremely salty. After 15 more minutes the third meal, steak finally arrived. On alerting the manager, he took two of the meals off the bill explaining that all the customers showed up at once and he was short a cook. If this poor experience continues at Carrabba's I am sure the "problem" of too many customers will be no more.

Special wine tasting dinner focusing on Stag's Leap Vineyard. 36 guests enjoyed a sauvignon blanc and cabernet. The filet mignon a perfect, buttery, medium rare. Pomodoro chevré appetizer tomatoey and creamy on crostini. The cavatapi pasta course accented with mushrooms and peas in a cream sauce. Final course a chocolatey bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. Worth the premium and staff efficient and on top of the event!
