“Cute find in college town”
Review of Coastal Fog

Greenville is your typical college town when it comes to food: every chain restaurant is located within a few miles drive. Think greasy food. Imagine my surprise when I discovered Coastal Fog with it's farm house chic decor, quaint ambience and pleasant staff. The food was very good. We ate the egg salad and crab salad slate plate....however, we were surprised that by 1pm on a random Saturday that they were practically sold out of the whole menu! No joke. Almost everything was gone that we attempted to order: quiche, tart, etc. On top of that, they charge $ for tap water. Definitely on the pricier side. But if you are looking for a nice place to dine in Greenville and don't mind paying for it, Coastal Fog is your best bet. Perhaps arrive early and bring your own water bottle?!?

Coastal Fog is both a retail store for home furnishings and a short order bistro. The order and delivery system is confusing. You had to go to three separate counters for food, beverages and water or coffee and the self-serve beverage system was empty at my visit. The seating is family style and the food was average for the cost. Better atmosphere for shopping than eating

We were here for lunch after ECU graduation ceremony. Food was outstanding. Since we were 18 people, arrangements were made for cheese board, desserts and an assortment of delicious sandwiches. There was enough for everyone to take a snack back to our hotel. If I lived in the area I would eat here often

Coastal Fog has two wings, one that sells upscale and rather pricey home goods and furniture and the other that serves as a dining establishment, which is not open at night. I like to stop by while biking and get a cold drink, or sometimes after yoga for a quick lunch. The sandwiches I have had are good; my favorite is the French Dip. They also have a good soda selection, something I seldom say because I usually am not a fan of sodas. They also have a good selection of sweets, the lemon bar being especially good. It is a very clean, upscale atmosphere with some outdoor seating, which can be nice if the weather cooperates. The only negative, the food is rather pricey but you are paying for the atmosphere.

Was recommended and it was definitely worth it.

Coffee: As goos as it gets in Greenville. Cappuccino was really good as compared.

Service: The barista and staff were very friendly and great for a chat

Atmosphere: The cafe is located within a home goods store
