Good food and one of the few options for large crowds. We always end our weeks stay here. Have accommodated as many as 20 people.

Thank Kathy G

My wife and I visit the Outer Banks twice a year and we stay at the Hampton Inn in Corolla just up from Duck. As we always dine in Duck we decided to have dinner in Corolla for a change of pace.
A few people recommended Mike Dianna’s Grill Room in Tim Buck 2 so we decided to give it a try and were happy that they took reservations as many of the restaurants in Corolla do not.
When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly hostess who quickly seated us in a booth in a section of one of the dining rooms that was not crowded at all which was nice.
Our waiter quickly appeared to explain the specials which were actually normal menu items.
We quickly noted the expensive prices which competed with some of the higher end restaurants down in Duck.

My wife had the 6 oz filet mignon which came with a small scoop of mashed potatoes and a few green beans for $32.
I had the wood grilled swordfish that was served with a few green beans and a scoop of some type of rice for $25.
There was absolutely no gourmet presentation and the food was served on some weird colored plates with both plates resembling institutional food.

The fish and steak were acceptable and we finished our dinner in less than a ½ hour.

The total price was $81 for the two entrees and two glasses of a house wine which was very expensive for the quality and quantity.
We will not return and decided that all of our future dinners will be at our favorite restaurants down the road in Duck where the quality and value are far superior.

This was our first time visiting this restaurant in the Tim Buck II complex of shops in Corolla. Our seafood dishes were excellent and the service was top shelf. We will visit this place again

We had excellent service from Amy very friendly and gave great recommendations for dinner. Our meals were hot and cooked just right. Enjoyed the fresh bread and garlic olive oil. It was a slow night due to the recent hurricane but the staff was attentive. Looking forward to our next visit.

Stopped in for dinner the other night because reviews looked good on Google. Atmosphere was nice and the service was excellent. Our server (Johnny) was very pleasant and attentive. My wife and mother in law got the flounder, which they both enjoyed. I got the ribeye, which wasn’t a good cut of meat. It was cooked as requested but I had to discard more tough, fatty portions than I would’ve liked. I should’ve gone with the 10oz filet instead. Other than that, the rest of the food and drinks were good. Not a bad little place.
