I had been years ago when they were new but only had a little extra time on my way to the airport. I was not able to tour the family home and felt a little rushed through the exhibits. For this visit, of course the Memorial Garden has grown. :-( It was nice to pay my respects and to see the exhibit inside the barn of the funeral and lying in state at the Capital. I loved the tour of the family home. Many of the volunteers in the house had been there in their youth when the Graham's lived there so they were able to share insights. Even the barn has increased in size and exhibits. We stayed about two hours and had a fantastic lunch. I could have spent a couple more hours studying all the exhibits and the collections from Billy Graham's personal library. I recommend three to four hours to slowly peruse everything but with no admission, it's a great place to stop even when you just have a little time. The food is delicious.

While I'm not a faithful person, it was interesting to learn about Reverend Graham and the influence he had on many presidents and the common people.

On our way to catch a flight home we decided to do a drive through. We ended up parking the car, walked to Billy Grahams grave, then into the library. A very kind ( everyone was extremely nice) man knowing we only had 15 min to spend took us on a quick private tour. I must say I was impressed, just about brought me to tears, very moving. When we are in town again will definitely make plans to do the 90 minute tour. It's Free opens at 9am.

The grounds at the Billy Graham library are so peaceful and so beautiful in the spring. By the parking lot, you will see the home Billy Graham grew up in that was moved and restored on these grounds. Then you go into the barn with a cross shaped door. The staff here is so cordial and helpful. Look for Bessie the talking cow. You are then guided as a group through several areas with videos to watch. After several of those, you then have areas to tour at your own pace. You end with another video and exit through the bookstore/ gift shop. As you face the barn, the Memorial Prayer garden is to the right. It is a cross shaped walkway that leads to the burial places of Ruth and Billy Graham. Off to the right of that area, you will see the burial places of the Barrows and George Beverly Shea. Allow about 2 hours since part of this tour is guided and part is at your own pace. This is a very enjoyable stop...Highly recommend!

Doubt can tell it all. Worth the visit just for the beauty. An honor to walk the same grounds Rev. Graham did as did Mrs. Graham. House was neat as it reminded me how material things have changed. Wonderful job done with the barn. We went though the videos from room to room and greatly recommend it. Learned a lot about Mrs. Graham that may have known but forgotten. We spent about an hour but we were on time limit, allow a couple of hours if possible. No admission. They accept donations.
