Four of our Family members spent most of our day here on a Friday. It had something for everyone, with the flexibility to try it all.

Do not go here. Total waste of time. I have three kids ages 8,12,15. They all wanted to leave after 30 minutes. The place is dirty. No organization. Waited 45 minutes for each ride. The place is really small. I work hard for my money and feel that I wa robbed

While it is true that the kids had a pretty good time, and that is the number one criteria, we adults were very disappointed.
#1: Even though we bought tickets online, the wait was very long.
#2: No re-entry allowed. Why???
#3: Once we got past the ticket counter we had to wait 5 minutes in the next room. It was kind of a holding room.
#4: We went into the next room where there was a history of lego and some buttons to push to virtually create your own lego. The buttons didn't work.
#5: More waiting for a ride where we rode past some screens where we were supposed to shoot the bad guys. One of our guns didn't work. Other things didn't work in the mini-land and in the main room.
#6: Finally into the main room. First stop was a build your own race car with lots of lego pieces and a race track and timer. Cool, right? Too bad there weren't close to enough wheels. C'mon. Really??
#7: We came at 11 am. An hour after opening. The bathroom looked clean, but it smelled.
#8: The staff was just plain NOT nice. There were staff members literally yelling at kids. I have never, ever seen staff at a kids venue yelling at kids.
#9: The movie was cute. 4D, which meant we were sprayed with water. That was fun. Playing with lego was fun, too. That's why the kids were happy.
#10: The only way out was through the gift shop. I paid enough to get in. I really don't want to have to deal with tired kids who want more and more. No other way to go.
Bottom line: I will not be going again.

Hi Debbie R,

Many thanks for your feedback, and we are sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your recent experience. Due to it being Spring Break, we had a high number of guests turn up, which will sometimes result in a short wait time at Admissions, even with a pre-booked ticket. We also have to limit re-entry, so that we can closely monitor the number of guests we have in the attraction at one time. I do apologize that some of our features were not working, and can assure you that we have a staff working around the clock to ensure that our guests do not encounter these hiccups during their visit.

We are glad to hear that your kids had a fun visit despite your concerns, and would like the opportunity to further discuss your visit with you. If you can please email us at westchester@legolanddiscoverycenter.com and mention this review in your email, that would be great!

Have a Bricktastic Day!

Fun place for children up to teens. A little small and crowded though. Pleasant atmosphere for the family.

How long and how many times can you ask a five year old to wait to a)get on a ride that has only 6 cars or b) find a table that works that is supposed to shake the tower you built from the available Leggos? If you pay the basic price of $50 for one adult and one child you’ll get the answers we did a) close to an hour for the ride. After 45 minutes my niece said she no longer wanted to wait b) it all depends on how long the child who has one that works chooses to stay there. We had some serious builders at the functioning stations so about a 25 minute wait.
Other than the rides, on which we gave up trying to get on and the tower table, the only “ couldn’t do this at home or at a good park” attractions were the 4D movie and the Simon like hit the illuminated colored box in the Ninja room. The rest of the floor was just building with different size blocks, slides and walking nets. Our 3 and 5 year old companions enjoyed the slides, but no more than they enjoyed the free playground slides outside of the Cheesecake Factory.
