Three adults staying for one week, the position of the property is fabulous although on entering the property our hearts dropped. The property is stuck in the 80's with as my son stating 'More switches and lights then in an Airbus 380 and most not working anything!!' The blinds in all the rooms were filthy as were the sofas and the bed linen although clean well past its sell by date and my Son's duvet cover having holes in it. The only room that was good was the upstairs area which is newer but can only be entered by leaving the main property by external staircases. Anyone visiting with children would NOT be able to leave them safely in the main house as the back patio door does not lock!! Had to remove a lizard from the bathroom and someone else's dirty hairbands. Such a shame as the property has so much potential, NEEDS A JOLLY GOOD CLEAN & REFURB!!
We arrived late at night so were surprised by the lovely views the next morning. The house was clean and had all we required. Even though our daughter is older it was nice to see a cot, stroller and books for kiddies, there is also a shower out the back to wash off beach sand ( a must to save the wooden floors) All along the road and beach area out front are lovely parks and facilities, swimming beaches and it is close to a super IGA and other shops.
We had a very relaxing stay and visited Rottnest, Bunbury, Mandurah, Penguin Island, Margaret River and Fremantle.
It is an older property being modernised but comfortable.
