We arrived in the dark after a long drive from Perth airport aggravated by a traffic accident near Cervantes which delayed the journey by 2 hours. The property is really poorly lit and you couldn't even see the signage outside the property even when the GPS says you have arrived. This is the first time I have encountered "self-catering" means truly you dont see anyone on site throughout your stay and you are expected to clean everything yourself ( signs everywhere of heavy penalties if you don't clean up or do as told). Getting into the property in the dark was a stressful experience as first you have to find the letter that is left outside the closed office with the pin code to the lock box outside your "villa" which you had great difficulty finding in the dark because there is hardly any lighting. There is no dryer, just a washing machine but they do provide clothes pegs and a drying rack outside. The patio is in front of house so anyone walking along the main road sees you, so no privacy at all.Really, really dated and my first impression is "what a dump" when I finally entered through this very old kitchen that looks like its been fitted out in the 70s.Its so basic that the shower with a curtain looks like something in a hostel. I would not recommend to anyone and at this price point, would expect something a little more decent. But I guess Kalbarrie is peak season in July and there aren't many choices. Its selling point is its location just across the river and it is near to shops and water activities. Really disappointing stay.

Stayed there for one night, the villa is very old and there is some wear and tear in the villa. The kitchen lights is not working so they put 2 small lamp in the kitchen, which is very inconvenient for us.

We stayed for a week with another couple and shared accomodation. I double bedroom and one for kids with single beds which were fine but no airconditioning in the bedrooms and it was hot to sleep at night. Also the blinds were shabby and didn't keep the morning light out so awake very early. appart form that not a bad place but owouldnt stay there in summertime until they fix the aircon into the downstairs bedrooms.
Room tip: quiet enough at night but renovations were being done nextdoor, can't help that tho

We rented the double storey villa which has 2 bedrooms, a living room, dinning and kitchen. Very spacious and clean. Just a short walk to the beach, restaurants and IGA. It was school holidays and many of the resorts were fully booked. Our stay turned out to be pretty pleasant. Price was reasonable and would stay here again in the future.
Room tip: Parking is right in front of the villa. Wifi is very weak.

we did a quick overnight stay in Kalbarri on our way from Kalgoorlie to Exmouth so good convenient place for us to stop in and stay - however if we planned to stay longer would also stay there as great location and would be good for a family holiday - only downfall was the main bed - it was like sleeping on a board - we were so sore the next day if they fixed that no issues with going back :-)

Stayed in a double storey unit away from the road. Spacious, which is why 2*. Beds uncomfortable & generally in desperate need renovation. Needs proper cleaning (toilet still stank, etc). Pan useless. Very noisy due to neighbours & wooden floors. Overpriced for offering. Recommend other accommodation.
