Our family loved the quad bike safari at Murchison homestead. Martin was a fantastic guide with a dry sense of humour and a lot of knowledge about the area.
You get to see plenty of wildlife and experience different terrain from sand to gravel to some steep rocky climbs - the quad bike handles it all!
We had 5 and 7 year old children on the back and they loved it too. We felt they were safe and we could go at a pace to suit. There were plenty of opportunities to go fast as well.
Having never ridden a quad bike before - I was happy with how easy it was.
Highly recommend this when in Kalbarri. It’s only 15mins out of town on the way to nature’s window.
Make sure you dress in clothes you don’t care about getting dusty… but it’s all part of the fun!

Yes it has been crisp, but it is worth it. Definitely the best time of day to enjoy the flora and flora of Murchison House Station.

Excellent experience. Beautiful scenery. Great tour leader and we always felt safe on the bikes. We were by far the eldest on our tour (grandparents) and fully recommend this to other Seniors. A great way to see the historic Murchison Station.

First time on quad bike. It was a very amazing experience! The terrain was not very simple. It had rocks and had to climb a little slope. Had chance of puddles of water too! Part of the tour also drove past some bushes on the left and right. Also had stops every now and then to check that everyone caught up along the journey.
Guide was super friendly and helped to spot kangaroos and goats. Also stopped for some photo taking. Even my 5 year old boy enjoyed it very much. My 8 year old boy was very happy being a passenger on the tour guide's bike. He exclaimed that it was fast, safe and fun ride!
A bottle of water was also provided for everyone.
