Steve and Ingrid are exceptional hosts. They treated us as if we were part of the family visiting for the weekend. They gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area, helped us plan further ahead on the trip, and entertained us with great stories.

The cottage itself is a single room with two queen-size beds and everything thing you’d need for a visit to Kalbarri (kitchen, laundry, shower, wifi). It’s in a quiet location with easy access to town and the parks. You can even hear the ocean when you’re sitting outside at night.

Definitely worth the stay!

Perfect cottage. Clean and well equipped. Ingrid and Steve were excellent hosts. Friendly and informative which helped us do the things we wanted to do in a short period of time. Steve directed me to little Jake beach where I did some bodysurfing, the coastal cliffs where there are stunning views and Nature’s Window Loop which is also spectacular. We were warned of the intense heat we would experience there and made sure we started early and took plenty of water as advised. Can’t recommend Cable Cottage highly enough.

Stayed 2 nights, good value, free wi-fi, Tea/ coffee and toast for breakfast included. Short drive into town, close to walk trails. We were also able to holiday with our dog rather than leave him in a kennel. Good amenities - washing machine, utensils to cook if you wanted to, hair dryer, iron, T.V, air conditioner.
