We spent 3 days / 2 nights here. First night we stayed on the homestead. It was nice and yes like others have commented it was quite busy / a little cramped but we found everyone friendly and managed to get ourselves a nice spot just back from the river. The facilities were okay, I only used the toilets (old but what you expect in the bush/camping) not the showers. The bush camping - on the other side of the river - was excellent. While you need a 4WD and would be more limited with a caravan or trailer (rough - but very fun terrain!) we were able to drive an hour and 10 minutes into the property to find a beautiful spot right on the river, not another camper in sight! Will definitely come back again and just go straight for the bush camping. My only slightly negative feedback - was that the staff weren't overly friendly/welcoming. We understand we were there in a very busy time (post covid 19 restrictions lifting) but as first timers it felt a little disconcerting to receive a bit of a brisk welcome and not a lot of information beyond the bare essentials. Also getting told off quite rudely for mistakenly picking up some wood by one of the owners wasn't exactly what I would call hospitality - popped it back and apologised and understand there are probably lots of visitors who push the boundaries/rules but in our case it was an innocent mistake and just left a bit of a bad taste from what was otherwise an incredibly beautiful place.
