A wee bit embarrassed as initially thought not great. Was I proved wrong.

Review of Ningaloo Lodge
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 9 Aug 2019
Beautiful area to explore from. Rooms comfortable, albeit modest but everything you need. Common areas wonderful so much commitment and care to making the experience 6** The gentlemen front of house excellent and obviously committed to the place.

Reception staff were friendly and welcoming and showed us around. The common outdoor sitting area is large and attractive. The communal kitchen is also large and very well equipped with a lot of basic cooking requirements provided
eg. cooking oil, flour, condiments, Gladwrap. Tea, coffee and milk are also provided free of charge. There are also 2 large fridges. The laundry also provides washing powder free of charge. The rooms however are small and our towels were very thin and pillows a bit lumpy. However as most people are not in Exmouth to spend a lot of time in their rooms this was not really a problem. Also wifi can really only be accessed if sitting in the communal sitting area and did not reach to our room.

A very pleasant welcome and showed us around the Lodge before we headed to our rooms. Nice big lodge kitchen and a games room ( pool table and darts ect.. )
Laundry’s nice and easy to work with.
Only didn’t give 5 stars because the rooms are a tad squeeze and small bathroom. But everything is nice and clean for a older building .
But nicely located for the town and we walked to most places from the lodge

    Thanks

In all honesty this is probably a three to three and a half motel but the location and great communal kitchen bumps it up to four. Look, if you are expecting a luxury getaway with a super comfortable bed, modern room facilities and daily cleaning you will have to look elsewhere and pay $300 extra a night but if you want a comfortable room in a great position then this ticks the boxes. At the end of the day if you visit the amazing Ningaloo Reef and want to spend the day in your room you've probably gone to the wrong place and might want to reconsider your travel plans. However if you just want somewhere to rest your weary head after a busy day in a bucket list location, give Ningaloo Lodge some thought.

This is a place with a difference and could almost be classed as a backpackers with your own room. It has great large clean share facilities and a nice outdoor setting. The rooms are very small and the walls are thin so you can hear others talking, showering etc. Friendly and efficient staff. We have stayed in so many places and really don’t think the price is fair for what your getting. We paid for a standard room off peak and expected a lot more for what we paid.

More like a backpackers. Rooms small, beds small and well worn, linen thread bare. Walls thin so can hear everyone’s conversations. Female manager rude and unhelpful. Games room and communal area clean. Rooms not serviced regularly. Pros: convenient location. Won’t be back.
