Went for a drive today to whale watch, didn't see any whales, but detoured slightly to stop by Eagle Bay Olives because we were close enough and I love their Dried Kalamata olives.

Eagle Bay Olives is a fantastic little store with very generous samples of their quality produce and I generally stock up and usually walk away with something I haven't purchased before. Today along the the kalamatas, Ligurian (another favourite) I walked away with their Valencia mix, flavoured with fine orange peel and other herbs and spices.

If you are venturing around the region and have bought a few bottles of wine, thing about calling in to buy a picnic bag (bread, olives, cheese, dukka, venison salami and some of their delicious dips) I might not have it all listed, but it will be worth it.

We rocked up, by chance and en-route. The vibes as we entered were "unfriendly", service was "proper" and basically one was left with a "take it or leave it" feeling of indifference.

As we continued our wanderings in the region we found the same and or similar labels at lower prices - much lower prices.

They need to learn about hosting or get another job.

As a large number of our customers (and Trip Advisor reviewers) comment on our VERY friendly service, your review is puzzling. We take a great deal of pleasure in greeting, chatting and interacting with our customers so your description of your feelings is hard to understand. Indifference is a foreign word in this family business.
Our shop has been open for nearly 11 years and has played host to thousands of tourists and locals who have enjoyed our personalised service as well as our olive oil, olives and small batch gourmet products. Our products are not available elsewhere in the region - they are made onsite and sold only at our farm shop. We sell a handful of products from other local producers, all at prices recommended by the producer or below. So, for now, I think we will stay with the "job" we have and hopefully continue to keep the vast majority of our customers happy!

We stopped off at the farm shop at Eagle Bay Olives to buy some oil and ended up purchasing some other treats and a picnic box. The picnic box was one of our favourite meals from the region - it serves two but fed our family of three. The bread and dips were delicious and we swapped chorizo for extra cheese. The box with napkins and disposable knife are thoughtfully designed for holiday makers. I would highly recommend the shop, and the picnic box is a great option for families with small children when more formal lunch options don't appeal.

This small business has a delicious range of olives, and lovely olive oil, all can be tasted. They also have jams, pesto, cute pottery and olive wood utensils. It is all in a gorgeous setting, with lovely gardens and the cow sculptures to add to the ambience....go if you can and enjoy the vibe.
