Stopped in for a couple of quick beers and a look around. Staff very welcoming as soon as you arrive and invite you to go and have a look around. It has been a pub, a convent and a pub again. Cold beer and a yarn with Julie the Manager was refreshing country hospitality. Unfortunately it will cost a fortune to restore the pub so I think that could be a work in progress for many years to come. Nevertheless pay a visit, have a beer in history and enjoy the pleasant surrounds.

Arrived to check-in slightly past 2pm, which was their stated time but room was not ready. Waited for an hour and weren't given proper directions on how to find the rooms. No lighting on the stairs in the night. Tried to charge me again even though bill was paid in advance. Got my details all wrong. Room was tired looking and floorboards loose. Dust and dead moths in the room. TV and air-conditioning remote controls did not work. There was no kettle or hangers in the room for towels. Staff wasn't rude but wasn't helpful either. The only thing that is good was that the shared toilets are pretty clean. Short walk to general stores. Was so glad I did not book this place again on our way back to Perth.

Many features of the historic building, including stained glass, wide staircases, and lovely woodwork remain from the convent school. There are ensuite and shared bathrooms spaces as well as backpacker dorms, so everyone is catered for. All the staff were friendly and made our stay comfortable.

I stayed in a room with an ensuite which was nice, but the shared bathrooms were really nice as well, large showers, very clean, lots of counter space and mirrors. My friend had a room with a kitchen and living room great for a family.
Huge veranda to relax and watch the kids play. Huge warm pool, very clean.
A great place to stay and relax. The pub food was great, servings, price. Would definatly recommend and I would stay again.
Inside furniture was in keeping with the era of the hotel which looked amazing. Tea and coffee stations set up all over the hotel.

An Australia Day visit with my band. A great, casual beer garden atmosphere with seperate bar a BBQ area. Meals in the bar were tasty with easy going, professional service.
The rooms were HUGE and the large fibreglass pool, perfect. See you again.
