If you go edith a tour of 50 people they would be all trying to swim in a small space, that could be harmfull for the natural fauna of the pool

We arrived here as part of a De Palm off-road tour and, while the views were excellent, swimming in the Natural Pool was some sloppy going. ~ Climbing through the rocks to get to it,after a long climb down from the Land-Rover was tough enough.Navigating my way through uneven, jagged rocks was tougher still. ~ The pool itself was continually being spayed by waves just outside which distracted me from maintaining good footing on the slimy rocks below the surface. ~ Was glad I visited but, wouldn't venture into the water again. (Of course,I'm over 60 years old so maybe those younger wouldn't be so concerned.)

Natural Pool is just that-a place of the real nature of the Ocean meeting Land. What once was a sacred place is now over-run by tourists and ATV's. It is still beautiful but more and more people come here and some do not respect the force of nature nor do they respect the force of Mother Nature here. It can be a dangerous spot because of the ocean.

Difficult to get to, this is a stop on most of the off-road adventures you can purchase. There are rough carved stairs leading down from the bluff overlooking the pool. This is a hike. The pool was very busy with tourists and the entrance to get into and out of the pool is slippery and can be dangerous. We had a sea snake get washed into a crevice here. The pool has a shelf to stand on with many fish that get washed in by the ocean. Then there is a deep hole you can dive into from the rocks above. All in all a good time with the kids!

This was an incredible view and great snorkeling inside a protected pool surrounded by stones so the ocean was calmed
