A delightful renovation of an1860s farmhouse. All materials, workmanship and appliances are top-notch.
One enters into a mudroom with sufficient cubbies, hooks, shelves and upper cupboards for a family of twelve. Then move into a wide-open, delightful, spacious combo kitchen/dining room with solid furniture and excellent cupboards providing ample space. The walls are a light blue/lilac with ample window space letting in the island light.
The adjoining sitting room has couches and a TV and leads to a great “Florida room” and a deck that is built like a fortress, - that deck will withstand any Tsunami or earthquake. Take the stairs from the mudroom and you will end up in a great Man Cave equipped with a huge projection TV, (NetFlix included), just the place for the kids on a rainy day. The Man Cave leads into a laundry/storage room.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms and a small powder room, - the beds are excellent and the rooms are light and airy. The only bathroom is on the ground floor off the mudroom.
In summary a delightful, clean, well-equipped house, - the only drawback is that there is just one bathroom with a small powder room upstairs, - fine for a family, - less fine for a mixed group.
