We finally were able to visit Peck's when some friends invited us to join them for dinner. An inviting, intimate space. It's mainly a small plates/tapas menu. We found the food choices to be very good. There's some real skill in the kitchen here. Prices are OK and plates are large enough to share. The wine list was fairly extensive but many obscure labels and we found the wines a bit over priced, especially by the glass. The bread was really good but there is a charge for it. It's a new mind-set in the hospitality industry but we're not a fan of the practice; but in this case since it's not a dinner/entrée restaurant, it's considered a small plate choice.

We just had a lovely dinner at Peck’s. The service is excellent. The food was superb. Favorites were the wild mushrooms, the trout, and the almond cake. My daughter loved the cauliflower.
They accommodated our food issues fully.

I was actually given a gift certificate to Peck's. Four of us made our way on a windy Saturday night to enjoy a lovely evening out. After settling in with wine and signature cocktails (the Stuyvesant was my choice), we examined the eclectic menu. Ordering the bucatini, rainbow trout, and stuffed oysters, we were completely pleased. From the pleasant and attentive staff to the wine and cocktails to the well prepared food, it was a great night out. Oh not to forget the chocolate ganache cake-wow. I am going again real soon.

We went to Pecks with about 8 people for a friends 40th birthday. The food was very good. They have items for vegetarians that most meat eaters would love. The ambiance was not exactly the casual fine dinning the say, as it was more fine dinning, but it was not as though we needed to speak in hushed voices either. I would come back with a friend or group again for sure.

These are small plates which average about $20 each. They are called "sharing plates" but are very small portions, not enough for two. We spent over $100 for three dishes and two drinks. And the bread is an appetizer for $5! The food was ok, but nothing great. I can see how the atmosphere attracts a certain crowd, but Troy offers much better food at other restaurants for a better price. I
