We got very lucky today as we came to the museum one hour before it closed, at 5 pm and it was open to kids for free today! The museum staff were extremely kind, and Melissa one of the staff members helped our 4 grandsons aged 9 and younger, to do the scavenger hunt, create crafts to make race tracks, and the youngest one enjoyed playing with toy cars. There is also a car racing simulator machine which our nine-year-old grandson played for one hour! They had prizes for the kids for doing the scavenger hunt, and everyone was very helpful. There are all kinds of different vehicles in here with lots of history and well written plaques and signs. Across the street from the museum is one of the springs with water and we all enjoyed tasting it. Discounts for kids on the six and seniors, and for military personnel. Parking is free.
