We came here today with four grandchildren ages nine and under, and the gentleman at the visitor center was quite helpful, however he did not seem to know exactly what was going on in the park or what would be great for kids to do. There is a playground but obviously since it is April and cold, that was not an option. We went to the auto museum within the park and had a good time, and he also told us where to find a freshwater spring for the kids to drink and gave us a map of the park.

Lots of lovely trees in the park, and I would imagine in the summer and fall it is quite beautiful here. No entry fee to park.

Drive through the Park and escape the hustle and bustle of Saratoga. Be sure to walk the trails to the bizzarre springs. It is a great spot for picnic.

Wonderful, free tour of the unique springs with a park naturalist. Bring an empty jug and take home the mineral water from one of several naturally carbonated springs.

had a great day today walking/hiking in the park... stopped by the Creekside Classroom Environmental Education Center and met an extremely helpful and knowledgeable park ranger/educator who was very friendly and shared with us much of the history of the park, the springs, the geology, the trout stream... only made a nice late winter day all that much better ! Highly recommended!

The Victoria pool on the state park grounds is a gem. Voted one of the most beautiful pools in America. The pool Arce is surrounded by beautiful pine trees. There is a small restaurant where swimmers can have lunch if they wish. This little gem has been around since the 1930s. A local organization has been lobbying during the past 10 years to raise money to add to the general upkeep
If you’re in town during the summer it is not to be missed!
