We came here today with four grandchildren ages nine and under, and the gentleman at the visitor center was quite helpful, however he did not seem to know exactly what was going on in the park or what would be great for kids to do. There is a playground but obviously since it is April and cold, that was not an option. We went to the auto museum within the park and had a good time, and he also told us where to find a freshwater spring for the kids to drink and gave us a map of the park.
Lots of lovely trees in the park, and I would imagine in the summer and fall it is quite beautiful here. No entry fee to park.
