Thanks again to Joe and Edie for a convenient, easy visit to the area, this time for Paul Smith's graduation weekend! Although we will not now be in the area as much as we have in the last 4 years, we will always stay here because of the wonderful people who run this establishment. Thanks for a bunch of great visits and hope to see you again soon!

Edie and Joe are lovely people and this little spot is cozy, comfortable, and right in town. The accommodations were appropriate, the room really clean, and when my shirt was wrinkled they gave me an iron and board no problem. (Perfect stay in every way.)

We have stayed at Amanda's Village Motel in Saranac Lake many times since our daughter has been attending Paul Smith's college. Edie and Joe are the greatest hosts and we've never had any issues. Very clean. We end up getting the same room each time and it has a mini fridge in it, flat screen tv, etc. We don't mind at all, in fact find charm, in the older décor and real keys vs. the fanciness of chain hotels. There are seating areas outside of the room and the property is non-smoking, which we prefer. The only thing people may gripe about, that has not been an issue for us, is that there are no coffee makers in the room, but Edie and Joe keep it fresh in the office for the guests at no charge with regular mugs or to go cups. Not any issue for us, and its nice to say good morning, but also its never been snowing or raining when we've gone there. Motel is directly across the street from the lake and so not only very conveniently located, but beautiful views. We'll be back again and again.

The motel is right across from the lake , boats bobbing at their moorings are visible at check in. Its walking distance to Main Street, eclectic shops and restaurants. The room was well appointed, large, with a small fridge in the corner.Flat screen and WiFi ,and NO SMOKING!(awesome) Units have a small porch for relaxing outside. This is a Mom and Pop motel, and Edie and Joe make you feel right at home.
