We have been here twice, once right after opening. Place used to be Seaside Johnnies and we came often, location is beautiful.
First time our waitress was new but energetic( niece of owner), thus a bit disorganized, but overall good effort. Food was well prepared but some delays for some of our guests. Some got their entries while others waited.
Second visit service was dysfunctional, small details are missed, such as water, bread and waiter attention. The place badly needs a maitre'd and someone to run the kitchen. They clearly had enough waitstaff but no structure. Table next to us gave up after they waited an hour for their main course and left. Place was half full!
Lobster bisque was nicely done with chunks of meat and clams on half shell were good, but took 25 minutes to come.
Our main courses did not come for an hour and again not all mains came out together. However, food was good, especially coconut shrimp, swordfish, crab cakes and chicken bruschetta. This is not a waitress issue but a kitchen coordinating function.
The people are nice and we hope they can get better organized.
