The space, the amenities and of course the warm hospitality were all extremely generous for this price point. Spacious and clean, the lovely deck adds to the private nature of this separate cottage. Wifi worked perfectly on all iPhones, BB, MBA and Note 8 devices; satellite TV and DVD player were also problem-free. We were surprised to enjoy morning views of beautiful hanging baskets and well cared for horses leaving their barn.
A dozen types of cold & hot cereals, a Keurig with an abundant selection of coffees and teas, packaged pancakes, English muffins along with hard boiled eggs and peanut butter allow for some protein with your breakfast. A mini-loaf of banana bread was appreciated, two loaves was lovely but four loaves was incredible! And, after a 4-hr paddle on Grasse River (Stonebridge Kayak Rentals is another fab place), we happily tucked into some of them!
We planned to visit sights in Massena, Canton, Madrid and Potsham so I was a bit concerned that this B&B would be too far but the drives were easy and quick on scenic roads.
The host, Marcia, could not have been more welcoming and thoughtful: warmly greeting us upon arrival for a quick run down, remembering we enquired about biking options in the area and printed specific trail routes and info, and checking in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything.
Other thoughtful touches like lots of fluffy white towels, plentiful pillows, hand sanitizer, snack size chocolate bars, water flavouring crystals, granola bars and even dental floss - astounding at this price range! Have no worries or doubts in booking here - we plan to when we're back in the area. Complaints about anything lacking would just be petty.
