We ate at Hogans tonight, and the experience was very nice, as it always is at this cozy little establishment. Hogans is a very artsy restaurant tucked into an artsy part of Rochester, along the Park Avenue strip of cafes and boutiques. It is set up on two levels, with a bar and small entertainment area up top, and a main dining room on the lower level, near the street. The interior walls are decorated with a variety of artsy photos and paintings...very city-ish!
Hogans has a very nice menu, with a lot of informal dining options, as well well as several entree that are at the higer end, suc as their scallops on pasta ($22.00). Tonight, I enjoyed their crabcake sandwich, which was about $11.00, although the sweet potato fries were an extra $1.50. The meal was very good, and came with some tasty onion rings as well. My family ordered vegetarian burritos, which they seemed to enjoy. (They said the salsa was "very spicey," but they say that most things are too spicey!)
One negative thing about this restaurant...they only have about six parking spaces outside, (no kidding), so it's tough finding a nearby spot. But that shouldn't ruin your enjoyment of this very unique and nice place.
