Went with a group of friends (in our 30s) and did the casino theme. This was my first time here but second time doing an escape room. This was a great experience. All the surprises that made it cool and exciting were worth the price. It was a good time out with friends. Absolutely recommend.

The Breakout Game is a terrific hour long experience for a group of people. It’s an escape room. The one we were in had a capacity of 8 people. We were 4 and happy that they didn’t put 4 strangers in with us. That’s a disadvantage over other escape rooms I’ve been to: you could get folks you don’t know in the game, and I wouldn’t like that. The staff is awesome. The game is great. The clues are there; you just need to be able to find them! Unlike other escape rooms, hints appear to be limitless. We certainly intend to do it again.

My husband and I visited for the first time with 4 other people in October 2017 for Museum Heist. We had a fantastic Game Master, unfortunately I do not remember her name. We have done some other escape rooms, and thought the puzzles in Museum Heist were unique, different, and just challenging enough. We loved the tech in this room as well, as that made a huge difference and helped us to become immersed in the atmosphere. We only asked for one hint, and our Game Master provided us enough help as to not give anything totally away, but to guide us in the right direction. She would give us other guidance at points, making sure we did not waste our time on something that was already used or that we did something in the way it was intended. We were able to escape with about 15 minutes left, and walked out with a fantastic first time experience.

Our most recent visit, November 24, 2017, was a bit of a different story. We decided to go with the Casino as it was highly recommended. Connor, our Game Master, didn't give us much guidance before locking us in. Casino was a bit different as one clue led to another, unlike Museum Heist, where it didn't necessarily matter which order you did them in. We were somehow able to complete the second task and entered the code correctly. Nothing happened when we entered the code. We looked around the entire room and couldn't find anything that changed. After a bit, Connor told us the result should've been like "the first task reveal" and went on to explain what was supposed to happen. He didn't realize we hadn't solved the first task, so he essentially spoiled that for us. The reason the code for the second task didn't do anything was because there was a section of the room that was broken, and Connor instructed us to jerry-rig this broken piece to reveal our next clue. One of the other things we had to open in this room looked like an outlet cover, something that was also in Museum Heist, but we were informed that this was not part of the game in that scenario, so we assumed the same for Casino, but it ended up being a vital piece of the room. When we were towards the end of the room, we asked for a hint, and Connor didn't respond. This is extremely off-putting as the whole point of an escape room is that you have a time limit. We had to shout until he finally responded. It was clear he wasn't watching us at all between the first spoiled "hint" and the lack of response for the last. We did not end up escaping. The second to last code we had to enter locked us out with 20 seconds left. Connor came in already holding the “So close” sign, and when we told him the code we entered, he said that it was the correct code, and shrugged off why it wouldn’t have worked. He saw that we took notes on the back of a laminated magnet, and as soon as he saw that he rushed out of the room to clean it - it was only dry erase marker that we were given, on the back of something laminated - it comes right off. After that, he rushed us out of the room. This was a very poor second experience. Of course it never is satisfying when you don’t escape, but we were frustrated with the whole situation. It may take us a while before we come back to try a different scenario.
