The villa was well equipped and plenty big enough for our party of 3 couples and 1 child. The owners were very helpful and all arrangements worked out well. We had a great time on a family holiday to celebrate a significant birthday.
Advice: Take your own tin opener - the one in the kitchen nearly defeated us - and dishwasher tablets
Note: The Paradise Beach resort was only half finished (no construction at present). The villa area is complete and well maintained apart from an unfinished villa opposite. When we stayed, there were very few guests there, and the majority of properties were clearly unoccupied. Plenty of room round the pools, but the on site mini market is poorly stocked and the bar/restaurant was staffed but not much used by guests. We can't fault the reception staff who were friendly and helpful.
Expect to use taxis (5 minutes, 4 Euros each way, reception will call them) to get into Santa Maria, where there are some small food shops and many nice restaurants (we loved Atlantis on the beach) and there is a fantastic beach (much better than the one at the resort).

The villa we stayed in was fabulous, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms large open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area and a huge roof terrace with great sea views. The resort has 5 pools and we were never short of sun beds, There was on site restaurant and shop and access to the beach was only a short distance from the villa. The main town, Santa Maria is only 5 minutes by car and the restaurants range from pub meals to a la carte. Whilst we were there our youngest daughter took kite surfing lessons and we took our grand children 4 years and 18 months on a catamaran, they saw pilot whales and flying fish. This really was a holiday of a lifetime that will never be forgotten. We will definately be back to Paradise Beach.
