Soliday's has perfected "Bar Food". But we know it takes more than great food to be a great bar. At Soliday's, you are surrounded by high-definition TVs- nary a bad seat in the house. When the big game isn't on, Soliday's doubles as a comfortable neighborhood bar with a state of the art sound system & a digital jukebox with access to over a quarter of a million songs plus live music on select nights. Soliday's offers local & international beers on tap, over 100 different choices by the bottle & a full liquor & wine selection. A pool table, internet dart board, bar top video game & a staff that prides itself on prompt, friendly, indulgent service sets us apart from your run-of-the-mill local pub.

I have been to Solidays a number of times and I can say, without a doubt, it has some me of the best pub food in the area. Don’t be fooled by its chill “working man” vibe, it has some of the best wings around (I especially love the dry rub ones). I also love the roast beef on week pizza, the fish fry (in season), the tater tots (the spicy sauce they come with is awesome). There are also daily specials, decent beer taps, a cooler full of microbrews (including Green Flash!), and a full bar. Go there! Just don’t take my favorite table between the pool tables and the window!:)

Ordered a stinger sub with fries, the sub was excellent but they forgot the fries, such is life. Good bar food.

Our family has driven by this place far too many times. This is not a place to go if seeking ambiance. There are plenty of these places and you know where they are. If Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives were to visit Solidays - it would be in the Triple D Hall of Fame hands down. The food here is simply amazing - freshly prepared and absolutely finger-licking good! We waited way too long to come here - this will be a regular stop now.

This place is finger-licking freaking terrific! We ordered all over the menu. Apps - Tater Tot Special of the Day and Solidogs. The tater tots were hot, crispy and covered with a steak and pepper in a cheese sauce. The Solidogs are hotdogs dipped in batter and deep fried. They are cut in pieces (two bite pieces) and served with a cheese sauce. This is like a Whistle Pig without a roll. Both apps were amazing. Sandwiches - they have plenty of choices - we did steak, chicken and burger. Steak was the Mediterranean Steak sandwich - nice piece of steak - cooked perfectly with cheese and spinach. Very tasty. The Blackjack Chicken sandwich was a blackened chicken breast with cheese olive oil and sweet peppers. The Tito is a huge burger with caramelized onions and onion straws in a sriracha honey chipolte sauce on jalepeno cornmeal bread - this burger was nails! All sandwiches are served with housemade chips (amazing) and sweet and spicy pickles (brought home a pint and are still eating them)! Everything is made fresh and is simply amazing. Jason the chef came out and talked to us - he is really creative and prepares everything from the heart.

Beer you ask - about 15 on draft and over 50 bottles available. Great selection.

Give this place a try - you will not be disappointed!

A large group of us went to Soliday's for dinner last weekend, and stuck around for drinks as well. The food was pretty darn good for a bar, and cheap too. I ordered three appetizers for the meal; the onion strings (fried), the stuffed peppers, and the "piglets," which were hot dog links wrapped in bacon and then fried. Yummy! The service from the bar was pretty good too. We didn;t interact with the other folks too much, although the karaoke was a lot of fun. I would go back here again.

The reviews of great food led us here, and kept us here. The reviews gave us some warning of the questionable neighbourhood we were venturing to, as well as the poor outside appearance of this little dive bar, but we weren't expecting the neighbouring junk yard. We had to dodge wrecks to find a parking spot. Had the food reviews not been so good, and had we not been in an adventurous mood, we would have left immediately. We felt very unsafe, and I feared our car full of xmas gifts would not still be there when we left. BUT, the food and service reviews were spot on. After locating the only available bar table near the busy pool tables in this tiny, crowded space, we enjoyed their Sunday 25 cent wings night. The wings were big, delicious, juicy and plentiful. The roast beef poutine was piled high and very tasty. I have to admit that my burger, with an egg, bacon, and onion straws, was about the best burger I have ever had. it also came with homemade potato chips. The chips needed salt, but otherwise were greatly appreciated. And happily our car, and its contents, were still intact when we left.

Great food! Good friendly service! Will we be back? NO. We definately felt like fish out of water in this seedy little dive bar, but we are glad for the experience.

On a side note, this place is dirty and apparently the mens room was nasty. Definately not an atmosphere for children, although questionably there were a few kids there.
