We stayed at the Storm King Lodge for memorial day weekend and had a lovely stay with Hal and his wife. The property was truly beautiful, though unfortunately it was too warm to use the fireplace and too cool for the pool, so we'll have to go back! The hot breakfast (blueberry pancakes one day, egg frittata the next) was tasty and fresh.

Hal was a friendly and entertaining host. His sharp wit and hearty humor sure to delight. Don't forget to ask him about his days as a trombonist at the Lincoln Center!

Around the corner from Storm King Art Center in gorgeous rolling farmland the Storm King Lodge is a converted historic barn. Casual, warm, quiet, comfortable with elegant touches in the high ceiling beamed great room with big couches, long dining table, huge windows and grand piano. Beautiful outside covered deck. Totally enjoyed my brief stay and chatting with Hal and other guests. I stayed in the room that offers twin beds which is great for female friends traveling together or mothers and daughters. Not many b&bs have that option. Excellent big breakfast. I highly recommend to those who enjoy something different, eclectic and warm.

We just spent two night at the Storm King Lodge, a fun place, very homey with delightful guest and host. The breakfast was so well done, papers available and very enjoyable conversations. Very low key and relaxing. Highly recommended.

Staying at Storm King Lodge B&B was comfortable and enjoyable. Hal was a fun host and whipped up some great blueberry pancakes. We even got to watch the first presidential debate in the large living space with snacks provided by the owners! The location was perfect for a visit to Storm King Art Center and the Roosevelt homes.

It's a very clean, elegantly furnished, very comfartable place with a beautiful garden and a pool as well. Getting together around the table at breakfast with all others is a different atmosphere.

Hal, thanks for the hospitality and the great food!
