Description: Welcome to Webb's Captains Table! Webb's is a third generation family business started in 1942 by Paul and Nadine Webb and carried on today by second generation Jim and Sally Webb, and third generation Ben Webb. Our main dining rooms provide a comfortable atmosphere appointed with rich wood paneling and solid oak booths. Both the main dining room and the Lookout room offer beautiful views of Lake Chautauqua. The main dining room boasts a cozy wood-burning fireplace - the only one in the area. Our menu features fresh seafood, steak, chicken, veal and vegetarian selections. Our weekly menu insert features our chef's selection of appetizer, salad and entree, as well as a wine selection accompanied with daily specials. The Deck at Webb's is a second story open air, 60-seat deck with a gorgeous view of Chautauqua Lake. Join us for lunch or dinner and relax with a cool drink from the Deck's full service bar. Open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

One of the best restaurants we've visited in years. Excellent choice of food and libation at a reasonable price. Our wait staff didn't know how to make a specific drink, but rather than fake it, she looked up a recipe and made a good drink. Food was fresh, well prepared and presented. Very clean establishment with nice appointments. Must do.

I wasn't crazy about my chicken lettuce wraps. They were made with chicken strips instead of ground chicken in sauce. This made them very difficult to eat and kind of bland. The chicken in my husband's salad was terrible.

We have been using our fine dinors card, and thus have been enjoying several fine establishments. Webb’s is easily my favorite. The Chautauqua Chicken was amazing. The service (Emily!) was excellent. Emily was a lot of fun, with an excellent sense of humor. She was very knowledgeable, guiding us to delicious entrees that we all enjoyed. Definitely will be back.

We really enjoyed dinner at Webb’s. Food and service were both memorable. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to check out the rest of their complex but it looks interesting.

Everyone can have a bad day, but you have to work extra hard to make everyone around you have a bad time too. We came to the eat on the upper deck at Webb’s, usually always a pleasure with the nice view, the food is ok, if a bit pricey...but we go for the view. Today was terrible. We were greeted with the most dour face imaginable, but it looked like it had been a busy day.. So we are seated. It takes a while for our waitress to come by ( the same one who frowned at us when we arrived) she literally bangs down a water pitcher...doesn’t pour as usual, then runs off. She finally comes back and literally throws the menus on the table, without a word...still scowling. Returns to take our drink orders and when she returns with drinks asks “are you ready?” One of our party asks “what is popular?” The waitress rolls her eyes and says “it’s all the same” she must have thought better of that comment because she added, “it changes, today the crab cake is popular” so two of us order that. The crab cakes came and they are good but there was supposed to be wasabi mayo with it, it took so long to get our waitresses attention that one of our party walked up to the bar to ask for it. When our waitress comes back she again flung the cup of mayo at the table. We were in shock and audibly gasped, we didn’t see her again til the check came. Didn’t ask if we wanted coffee desert etc, just tossed the bill holders on the table. She didn’t come back. Another waitress finished the bill, but we politely asked what our waitress’s name was....Emily.
Emily should not be in the hospitality trade at all...If there had been a noticeable manager on site I would have said something, instead we left a note on their comment card, and did something I haven’t done in over twenty years, I did not tip.
