We went on January 1 when most restaurants in the area were closed. Alas, we were the only customers and got fabulous oysters and wine. Ray- the chef/shucker/ owner is very knowledgable and personable and treated us well. There were 4 kinds of east coast oysters that my wife had- very fresh and excellent. The only non- raw oysters are those cooked in an excellent oyster stew- which is what I ate. The wines are only marked up about 1 1/2 times retail which is amazing. This is a great place to go if you like oysters and wine- you probably won t find fresher ones anywhere. The only reason I rated 4 stars and not 5 is because of the limited menu not because of anything wrong with the quality.
