Five of us dined at Massa' last Friday and each of us had an unbelievable meal and a great dining experience. We started with two appetizers for the table; the Fritto Misto which was great combination of calamari, shrimp and zucchini, perfectly prepared, loved the spicy pomodoro sauce and the Polpo Alla Griglia - grilled wild Octopus, served with capers, olives, onions and cannellini beans. Both were delicious, good size servings and a great start. We continued with next course, our choices were: Berkshire Pork Chop - AN AMAZING DISH; Pollo Scarpariello (on the bone) which was an organic Cornish Hen - EXCELLENT; Dover Sole, fresh from Holland - FANTASTIC; Big Eye Tuna, rare, perfectly pepper crusted on a bed of greens with a delicious Dijon Mustard cream sauce - TO DIE FOR!! and Lobster out of the shell over Linguini with Spicy Pomodoro sauce -VERY DELICIOUS. Each of us could not stop raving about our meal, portions were large and very satisfying, perfectly prepared and very very good. We ended with a Deconstructed Cannoli for desert for the table and very good coffee. Overall I'd give this restaurant 5+ Stars and Executive Chef / Owner Francesco Coli 6+ stars for his creative meals and great staff and his warm and friendly manner. The atmosphere is also warm and friendly - this is a place that you MUST TRY, you will not be disappointed.
