The food was great, but the owner was creepy. Fortunately, the restaurant was sold and the new owner is great.

my parents went to Ristorante Spadafora for dinner and they were surprised to see the Quality fresh ingredients herbs and spices really make the dishes stand out, truly delicious. there meatballs are soft and tender and melt in your mouth, and wide variety of chicken dishes are to die for. food service and wait staff are always welcoming and professional. you are always greeted with a smile and treated like family. the food is always hot and and there is always a lovely presentation from kitchen to table. the owner Anthony Cannavo has done a great job he is the perfect host . Ristorante Spadafora is sure to be a success so next time you are in the New York area you must stop by Ristorante Spadafora you will so glad that you did.

While we visited Ariano's about 8 years ago we were pleasantly surprised new owners and what great food. The owner was there to greet us upon arrival and suggested some of his new creations We were very much surprised at the Fried Calamari. I have had fried calamari in Italy and even there it was not as good as Spada Fora. I believe the owners name was Anthony. What a great host. His passion for this place is just a great start to a great meal. My husband had an eggplant Parm, I tried the meatballs and rigatoni. A dish to die for. Great job Anthony. This place will be the hit of the summer. Don't miss this on your next stop to a great Italian Experience.

Went with a small party of 6 to dine and the food was amazing! Yes, it is small but they are opening a larger dining room before the spring and the outside patio for the summer! The sinfully chocolate cake was also a winner! So happy that we tried it out!!

We read that the restaurant was sold and decided to stop on a Sunday afternoon and see if they were opened. We hadn't been here for a long time
We were told that they had just opened and had no liquor license, there was a table with open Wine bottles and we could serve ourselves, no charge card machine, if we did not have cash they would take our phone number and call us to come back and pay, and the only menu for lunch was Dinner.
The food is wonderful, the service is excellent and with a new owner we are once again regulars.
A note; This is a small restaurant and tends to be a little noisy. We enjoy their patio when weather permits.
