a lovely new place called Ristoranti Spadafora. Ristoranti Spadafora is the heart and home of Sicily its a lovely charming Italian restaurant in a beautiful community with many scenic view of Lake Mahopac. today i went their with my 101 yr old grandmother for a very late lunch/ early dinner. we got there at around 2:30 and were greeted with open arms by the new management and owners Mr. Anthony and Sal Cannavo who just happen to be twin brothers, and a member of there wait staff Raul we sat a a table by the window and enjoyed a lovely lunch of eggplant Parm and potatoe corquette a salad with grilled zucchini and chicken , hot tea with lemon and for desert tiramisu and cheese cake and cappuccino a wonderful meal truly delicious.Ristoranti Spadafora is truly the heart and home of Sicily. it was warm, quiet, comfortable, inviting, friendly, the aroma of the fresh pizza and freshly homemade stuffed zeppolli with cannoli cream, homemade sauce, basil, really take you back to your grandmas kitchen on a sunday morning. you are greeted with a smile and treated like family.they do have an outdoor patio for dinning in the summer and banquet room for private parties. i highly recommend this you won't be disappointed

We stopped in for Saturday night diner and enjoyed our meal. The food was very good but the restaurant was crowded and a bit tight inside when there are lots of people. Many people also enjoy takeout from these folks.

There is a downstairs and upstairs restaurant (2 buildings) There is great atmosphere in the upstairs restaurant. The Snapper Special is excellent. Usually there is a long wait to be seated. The price appears to be reasonable. They have pizza, pastas as well as different varieties of fish.

Food made me sick. Had salmon & was ill all night. My husband swears it was food poisoning. I have to agree! Do not like the owner. Gave myself & other woman at our table a very uneasy feeling! Restaurant very tight seating &not so clean. Horrible in many aspects. Spend your money somewhere else!
