What a gem this place is. We, my husband and our 2 Golden Retrievers stayed 10/3 - 10/5 had a wonderful time. We stayed at the cabin with the fenced in yard. The cabin is clean, comfy queen bed with nice linens, high end sheets and bath towels too. We appreciate those touches. The furnishings were nice and the kitchen is fully equipped. Nice fireplace stove for tacking the chill off and provides nice ambience. We cooked out on the grill one night (charcoal provided) and made dinner in one night. The back yard has a big deck with large table with chairs and a big couch/settee as well. We brought wood for the fire pit but there was wood there. One of the nicest parts was the breakfast a sweet lady Mary brought at 8:00 in a wooden picnic basket. They were stellar ex...spinach/cheese quiche, fruit cup, hash browns and a fresh baked good (it was to die for good). Next days was as good as the first. The cabin provides OJ for you as well. The large hot tub is in a gazebo for your enjoyment. You share the huge property with 2 other cabins but other than Mary we never saw a soul. Nice trails to walk your dogs. The proximity to the wineries is great (less than 10 minutes from Seneca and Cayuga), we did one lake one day and the other the next day. One morning we went to Taughannock falls and Buttermilk falls, lovely way to spend the first part of our day. You are in the Finger lakes National Forest. The only negative of the cabin is the water has a sulfur odor, its well water and that happens, didn't even notice the first day and it didn't bother us the next day when we did. We always bring lots of bottled and extra gallon jugs of water (for the dogs) which we used for coffee (provided by the Cabin) and would for cooking too. I loved my stay here and would love to come back and do it again perhaps with family and or friends and book all the cabins. Pet Friendly Rules, but everyone would enjoy this place.
