What a nice place to get away. Everything was perfect. The house was clean and very comfortable. There is so much to do in the area. The owner was really nice and answered all my questions. We will definitely stay again.
The house is really homey. Felt right at home with the fully stocked kitchen, it had everything we need to make a really nice dinner. The view was something that you would see on a postcard. Had lunch at this really nice diner called Elf In The Oak. The area around the house really screams wine county. We must have passed 5 Wineries and a Brewery on the way to the house, the Silver Thread Winery is 5 minuets from the house. The highlight of the trip was seeing the vineyards. We'll visit again!
When we first arrived, we were happy to see the beautiful view of the lake from the house. It was so much nicer than we expected, and the first sunset we saw was very colorful and dramatic. The house was well-maintained, clean, and we really felt at-home there. The hosts were friendly, helpful and accommodating.
For us, one of the major highlights was having access to the kayaks, and we made good use of them. We spent quite a bit of time down on the lake frontage because we made bonfires down there both evenings. I really don't have any complaints at all, and would recommend this property to others for sure.
We enjoyed our time in the Finger Lakes, and our stay at this property. There are many wineries nearby, and places to hike too.
The kitchen, dining room, and living room are large, and the house was really clean and comfortable. We made several family dinners and breakfasts at the house, and found that the kitchen had everything we needed, for sure. There's a fenced-in yard for dogs, and so it was nice to be able to have them in the yard off-leash when we were grilling out and eating at the patio set.
We would definitely recommend this house and stay there again. Thanks for sharing your home with us!
This house was bigger than we expected, and the view of the lake and sunsets were gorgeous. We felt very comfortable and relaxed. Mary was easy to deal with and helpful to me when I was planning our trip. I found it helpful that she provided information on the restaurants in the area. We liked the Stonecat Café and Danos a lot. We enjoyed the local wineries too, and had a nice hike at Taughannock Falls, south of Trumansburg. I plan to return to the same place this Fall, and I would highly recommend it to my friends.
