A very nice place as usual, the view on mirror lake is amazing , one piece of advice do t go there while most of the hotel is occupied by kids sports team, kids in the hallways , no place to sit in the lobby.

Stayed here for a business trip. This hotel is very well located within walking distance to town and the main Olympic museum. It is up the hill so you can take a shuttle or get a good work out walking back from town! The restaurant is amazing with great views. I can't give this a 5 star due to some dated finishes and small issues with the room. This is great place to stay however because of the quality and location.

Room Tip: rooms facing east have a lake/mountain view

So grateful to Cristina Lussi, Linda LaBarge and the awesome folks at the Crowne Plaza in Lake Placid for taking such great care of us at our Book Launch Party. Spectacular view, great food, and excellent service. This is an awesome place to hold an event. Had a terrific time, and appreciate all the wonderful folks who came out to give the book - In the Shadow of a Giant - the book about the “Golden Age” of Paleface Ski Center and Dude Ranch – a great official kick-off. The North Country is full of beautiful scenery, wonderful people, and inspirational local heroes. Thank you so much, Dave Fitz-Gerald

We stayed here for a few nights for work. The hotel is beautiful and has a gorgeous view of the lake and mountains/hills. It is also walking distance from downtown. We stayed also during kids hockey tournament, so that was a little crazy but they made sure that our room was away from the craziness. I highly recommend this hotel.

We are thrilled to read of your high praise about the Crowne Plaza Lake Placid. It is wonderful you enjoyed our hotel and found the view to be gorgeous. We are pleased we were able to accommodate you away from the large hockey tournament during this visit. We do understand there are many different reasons people are traveling and we try our best to accommodate accordingly. Thank you again for the kind words, we hope to welcome you back again in the future.

We visited Lake Placid for the night. Since there was a lot of hockey players in town, the chalet was the only room available. How awesome to wake up in the morning with a view of the snowy Adirondacks and the ski jumping area. The chalet had three beds, one upstairs. Nice, cozy place. It is showing it's age, but it was a really neat experience.
