This is a private resort campground and they do it right. They really take service to the next level. I want to thank Robin at the check-in/customer service desk. She was the epitome of GREAT customer service. Alway cheerful, she makes sure that any request I had was attended to as best as possible. Thanks Robin! The resort is a really large campground divided into areas that I think of as neighborhoods. They have something for everyone. From tent sites to big rig pull throughs, from remote sites to more populated areas. They even offer rentals of RVs/Cabins that they have on the property. The campground itself has a lot of things to do by itself and themed weekends, but we really liked the closeness to Lake George Village and the outlet malls nearby there too. There is a small cafe on site that does breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the menu is limited to more "camping type" foods like pizza, wings, burgers, etc. Being next to the pool was a big plus for getting a quick bite. We saw some of the activities and they are well staffed. Actually the entire place is well staffed from the maintenance people, housekeeping, activities. The place was very clean as well as I used the shower in the main lodge as well as the restrooms there. Overall, I would highly recommend this campground.
